Ah Kim suggested that we should do Mothers’ Day at Grams’ place, so we did (:
Apologies in advance (before you view the pictures), I was a bit slow to capture the dishes when they were untouched haha. So what you’re going to see are clear indications that people were enjoying their homecookedfood!

Ah Kim’s version of Chilli Prawns & Sotong

She also fried some chicken wings, onion rings (which Dom and I were debating whether they were ORs or Calamari rings before we ate them cos Kelvin couldn’t tell us what they were hahahahaha) & fried fish fillets (:

Grams made chilli (right on that day itself!) for us to go with the dishes (:

Our favourite small humble pot made me realize one day that 家里煮的饭最香 (:

Dua Yi’s curry fish head which erm haha originally had a lot more nice stuff inside, all the tomatoes lady’s fingers, brinjals and yes the gimoungous fish head!

Yee Tio’s fried hokkien mee

Dua Yi’s 焖冬菇 (mun dong gu) with baby clams inside which were totally nice and soft

And the last 2 dishes which i did not manage to capture individual shots of:
Grams’ usual soup (I dunno what we call it but im sure you know which one im talking about) and the big lovely tray of vegetables which causes your favourite cousin a whole load of stress whenever Ah Kim cooks it (reason being: she makes an entire pot, then Kelvin & XY have to finish something that can feed like 10 people hahahahaha). Anw the veges were very soft and nice, so I you can expect that i was eating a lot of that haha (:
Happy Mothers’ Day to all you lovely ladies (:
